WHO CAN BECOME A VOLUNTEER? Volunteers play an important role in our community. Volunteers must be members of a "Host Church," or referred by an active mentor, and pass a background check to join.
VOLUNTEER OPTIONS
BE A PRAYER PARTNER:
You can join us by becoming a prayer partner. Our girls provide us with prayer requests at every event, and we invite you to join us in asking God for them. As a prayer partner, we will keep you up to date with life-changing stories and answered prayers. To become a partner simply email us at abigailsplacenj@gmail.com. Let us know you want to become a prayer partner, and we will respond to you with our prayer list! THANK YOU!
MAKE A DONATION:
You can partner with us through your financial support. We could not move this ministry forward if not by the loving support of friends and family like you. We strive to give our girls simply the best, so they will be encouraged to do the same for others.
START YOUR GROUP:
Abigail's Place works with local church leaders by providing leadership support and training, developing your activities calendar, vision casting and strategic planning, joining a network of leaders with years of experience in girls mentoring and development, and providing resources as available to accomplish established goals. Joining the ministry means becoming a "Host Church" where other young ladies can be referred to for mentoring and support.
A "Host Church" will:
- Commit to a minimum one-year time frame
- Commit to leadership training and support
- Commit to disciple-making
- Receive referrals and properly follow-up
- Attend program gatherings with other host churches
- Host at least one event per year if facilities allow
- Love our girls with a joyful heart!
